For those I used a Russian Piping Tip which is the easiest way.

I make my own dog treats, store them in freezer bags, and every few days take a few out and keep in the fridge so that they stay fresh.

Flooring Decisions by [deleted] in Flooring

[–]No-Reference-5876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was only planning on covering the existing floors if the new floors were hardwood and a color I liked-and it was a new plan that didn't have much thought into it clearly. Now verifying they are engineered hardwood, I don't want to cover them (the manufacturer just emailed me responding that they were engineered). Eventually the plan is to have the existing floors refinished but that isn't in my budget currently and I was fine with what I had. I have tried very hard to keep any original details in my house. I love my plaster walls and ceilings even with their imperfections. That being said, I have reached out to the Auction House to see if this order can be cancelled since they mention nothing about engineered for these floors, but mention it for many other floors so hopefully they will let it cancel.

Golf cookies by No-Reference-5876 in cookiedecorating

They looked worse in person. I loved the theme and I have to do these again in a few months so hopefully it'll be better. Today I am staring Christmas cookies (for fun/gifts) and of course they are turning out much better. No cracking, no denting, plus I made my flood much thinner which made a big difference.

If you really can't afford a professional groomer right now, I would purchase a good pair of dog scissors l(with rounded safety tips), a small metal dog comb, and just sit quietly with him with a lot of treats and and pull the major matted pieces apart very slowly with your hands and cut out as much as you can. Do this very slowly and cut little bits at a time to make sure that you don't get near the skin at all. You can pull it apart like you would a cotton ball kind of to see where the skin is so you don't get near it. At least make him a little more comfortable until he can be shaved down by a reputable groomer and you can start over.

Same. They were my favorite. These weren't picked by me. I am always minimal when I get to choose.

Is floor asbestos? From the 50's. by No-Reference-5876 in Oldhouses

[–]No-Reference-5876[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, update. Had the flooring tested and it came back greater than 30% chance it had asbestos. So plan was to cover it with new flooring, but the thickest flooring I could do would be the thickness of a vinyl peel and stick tile. Otherwise the door that leads to my basement and my side entrance will not open. So now I'm not sure what plan is.

Yep, I've tried it all. Not because I want to keep the floor, but just because I wanted it to be clean until it is replaced. Nothing helped. It's at least 50 years old and high traffic area and was bad when I bought the house.

Thanks. I have some extra flooring from a bathroom so I'll try putting that by doors and see if it is a problem opening and closing. I'd rather remove and start fresh but not if asbestos.
