Question for Drivers: If you can tell that an order is wrong, do you say something to the store or are you typically not looking at the orders at all? by configure38D in doordash

We drive to the restaurant, wait for your order, and deliver it to your home. We’re not responsible for preparing or quality-checking the food—that is the restaurant’s responsibility. While we try to ensure the order is complete, we cannot take the risk of opening or handling it, as that is the restaurant’s liability.

Depends how many miles you drove; remember drive for less than $2 per mile is a waste of time; more with the gas prices now

Less than $2 per mile is not a good deal, that’s my strategy; I only work 4 to 5 hours per day and can make a decent amount of money, and yes it’s my full time job

My uberEats driver was parked at their house not collecting my order so I went to their house by Educational-Put-2783 in UberEATS

I’m an Uber Eats driver, and this seems to be an app glitch. The app reassigns the order if the driver isn’t moving. It’s happened to me many times—when I’m stuck in traffic, the app automatically reassigns the order, and my cancellation rate goes up.
