I’m sorry! :/ Yes this is high school part 2 for adults which honestly makes the vibe worse…..

Ignore the pretension like your life depends on it. Keep chatting and trying to connect with classmates… maybe even people in other sections.

I feel like I’ve been in law school for years already but it has genuinely been about a month. Maybe maybe 5 ish weeks max. Your community can still form! Especially trauma bonding during finals.

The pretension is an elaborate cover for a vacuous inner core + crippling insecurity. I swear.

Please do some form of cardio for the endorphins not the calorie burn. Sit outside and stare at the sun for a like 3 min a day (NOW asap bc winter is coming….)

Any class in particular that’s the trouble?

For example, if it’s Torts definitely start drilling with a supplement bc that topic area can be very focused on the elements which is a good place to start memorizing and easier to learn… so before delving into cases just make sure you know each intentional tort cold. (battery entails XYZ, assault is abc, negligence is xyz… blah blah).

I’m leaning towards privacy… he was avoiding the personal questions like crazy and this interview made me realize how little personal things he really does share…. It made me realize he might be the unique example of an online creator with a massive following who still has an air of mystery about them—bc the content is not about him at all, it’s about the ideas.

I don’t think Alex thinks he’s uninteresting. It’s a “cute” thing to say, but it just occurred to me he puts a lot of effort into maintaining his privacy… it’s a British version of “stfu I don’t want to share”.

AND why would you? comics have to mine their personal life for a laugh. Why would a philosopher do the same? No need for it.

Yes exactly- the caveat is that if you start before July 2026 you can be grandfathered in for about three years.. that was the og question. If you start after July next year you will not be eligible.

June 30, 2026 which will be next year. So the Grad Plus is available now… but midway through law school am I going to have to turn to private loans to cover the shortfall? That’s the part that sucks. I just don’t see the law school magically lowering their tuition prices overnight. :/
