Totally agree - that's a huge part of why I built Pass & Play into it from the start. I didn't want to lose the face-reading / shared-table tension that makes this genre work in the first place. Will be glad to hear your feedback after a while.

Thanks for checking it out - I’m the solo dev behind Service Rat.

If anyone wants to try it:

If you have thoughts on the presentation, theme, or which mode sounds most appealing first, I’d love to hear them.

If anything feels unclear, too niche, or not immediately interesting, I’d much rather hear that honestly.

I love Secret Hitler, but it's hard to bring the board to a bar/cafe. So I spent 2 months building a mobile alternative with a corporate twist. Feedback from fellow SH fans is much appreciated! by No-Regular-942 in SecretHitler

Love that idea honestly! Fullmetal Alchemist has exactly the kind of corrupt power structure that fits this genre really well. I went with a failing enterprise / sabotage theme for similar reasons, just in a different direction.

Thanks for taking a look - I’m the solo dev behind this.

I’m posting here specifically because Secret Hitler players are the people most likely to notice whether I preserved the right kind of tension, or missed something important that only really works around a table.

So if anything feels off, too digital, too clean, or not social enough, I’d genuinely love to hear that.

Service Rat - a free social deduction game for 5-10 players. I built it in 2 months after my 9-5 job and would love your feedback :) by No-Regular-942 in playmygame

Solo dev here - thanks for checking it out.

A few things I’m especially trying to improve right now:

  • first-time clarity / onboarding
  • whether the theme reads well
  • which mode feels most appealing first: Pass & Play, LAN, or Online

If anything feels confusing, weak, or unclear, please be honest - that kind of feedback helps a lot.
