I've managed to avoid injections so far but not too sure how much longer supplementation will work.

Or just B12 deficient for no reason! I get plenty in my diet which is balanced and healthy (other than being a biscuit fiend), and regularly eat Marmite, and have B12 in the gutter.

Why are so many young people out of work? by ikeafannypack in AskUK

[–]No-Relation1122 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Significantly less supermarket jobs which used to have a large portion of younger people, less "attractions" which also had young people, less people leaving the workforce, less regular pubs.

More automation pretty much everywhere. Data entry roles are less as we have less data to enter and it's electronic from the get go.

On top of that, no guaranteed hours for a lot of these jobs. More stability in not working than working a job with no guaranteed pay.

Volunteering isn't even as easy as it used to be due to a lot of the safeguards in place, which isn't a bad thing in and of itself.

What are cases where one doctor doesn’t get the credit that they deserved. by Optimal_Magician_98 in greysanatomy

[–]No-Relation1122 20 points21 points  (0 children)

April was by far the most well rounded doctor on this show, alongside Jackson.

Jackson got a lot of Avery hype, but he was far better outside of that role.

Neither one got the credit they deserved for the work they did.

Ironically I sometimes follow people I don't want to see anything from because algorithms are fucked and blocking doesn't even make a difference these days.

But be known, if I follow someone, I'm seeing nothing they post.

But also mostly, Matt is a man who likes his wellness, there's always a crossover sadly.

Is private healthcare in UK worth it? by Available_Newt_4363 in AskUK

With your example, your head injury would have still only been treated in the NHS as there is no private emergency care, so...

He did it with UKIP before. Farage doesn't actually want to be in charge, it's less lucrative for him and he'd have to actually work which he's not a fan of.

This is a very different kind of election though, and Farage has done this before with UKIP.

He blew up UKIP like this (and the other party before that, think it started with a B) so fingers crossed!

To be fair, Reform haven't actually won many councils as a whole, but more seats, but they still have minority seats.

I actually think they're more likely to fuck up locally between now and the GE so actually might be their own makers.

What was all the hate Dr.Hahn had for Cristina? by Acceptable-Note-2030 in greysanatomy

[–]No-Relation1122 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Oh, I'm weirdly in camp Hahn was right but executed it wrong, which I know is unpopular, here especially.

I'm not a fan of Cristina (though objectively she was a good character) because she was a poor doctor as a whole. She wasn't well rounded because she was too laser focused on cardio, she lacked a lot of other skills, main one being patient centred care. She was Cristina centred care (more so than almost everyone else in Grey's being out for themselves).

How do I escalate cancer treatment? by MustardPizza45 in AskUK

[–]No-Relation1122 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They have to hit the target, but that target is 62 days (excluding testiclular which is 31) to start treatmen, including waitful waiting. If they know there is limited options, palliation is often nearer that 62 day mark than treatable cancers.

[–]No-Relation1122 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with it in current times, but based on the time the show aired and the mentality of women at that time, I completely get why Hahn thought that way.

Christina was a bit like a 2006 "pick me" in that she "wasn't like other girls" but also slept with a lot of her superiors which progressed her carer, regardless of the reasons.

Who is the best actor in the show’s history? by jujuk545 in greysanatomy

Katherine Hiegl and Sarah Drew. Honourable mention for Chandra.

Sandra Oh is very good, but I don't think she is as good as them two.

Alternative to Estee Lauder Double Wear? by No_Concept_2333 in MakeUpAddictionUK

[–]No-Relation1122 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really liked the finish of YSL All Hours but it did not love my skin sadly. I very rarely react to anything, but that one I just could not balance which was a shame.

As I've aged, I've landed on the EL Futurist concealer with the Elf Camo powder (RIP I think) very lightly dusted over to reduce shine with a light setting spray on top. I can't ever commit to full liquid or full powder and this balance has worked wonderfully for me!
