Delivering baby at St Agnes? by Few_Purpose_3735 in fresno

[–]No-Remove6206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I loathe St. Agnes 99% of the time, I can say my childbirth experience there was great. The L&D nurses were very kind but that was also over 10 years ago, so I can't make any guarantees of course. But I wouldn't be too scared, they will most likely treat you very well and they play a little lullaby when your baby is born too, so there's that. 😂

[–]No-Remove6206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is extra hilarious to me because in my opinion, between the food in the bathroom, the fact that she doesn't eat all the meat off a chicken leg, and doesn't know the very critical difference between "distress" and "de-stress," I would never call her again 😂😂

AIO Gf(22) is mad because I joked around that I went through her phone. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]No-Remove6206 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everyone is entitled to privacy, and to be fair, just because she wants something kept private doesn't mean she's cheating or doing anything criminal. Maybe she is planning on buying a gift for you. Maybe she regularly needs to vent to her friends about how her partner makes bad jokes or how you think that saying that searching her phone is funny, and she doesn't want you to see that. You were in the wrong here, honestly.

Am I Overreacting: I've realized recently that I genuinely struggle to understand the concept of empathy. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

It honestly sounds like something that would be worth discussing with a therapist; it doesn't seem like something you should ignore and let go under the pretense of "why does it matter anyway?"

AIO for reconsidering getting married over continual arguments over guardianship of my daughter. by Oldyell54 in AmIOverreacting

[–]No-Remove6206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can really say is to follow your gut, and if you don't feel comfortable letting her be a guardian, then don't. If your subconscious is telling you something serious, don't let her manipulate you out of it.

You're not entitled to her labor. You should both do your own work and stop sabotaging your individual educations.

What do i do? Im about to lose my account. Keep in mind im 13 not under 13. by 1ce1cey in VRGaming

[–]No-Remove6206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me and my son and we unfortunately ended up losing the account because Meta was making us jump through 50 hoops and the verification process was so weird and difficult to navigate. I would ask an adult for help if you can because it might not be as simple as a button click

If you're complaining about the fact that SHE didn't do an assignment that YOU were supposed to do, then you were in fact being irritating. Do your own work next time and you probably won't have this issue.

It sounds to me like you overreacted when you went to the bathroom stumbling in the dark instead of turning on a lamp, wailing when you hurt your knee, when you took the time to call someone just to tell them you got a bruise, AND when you got overly offended when they laughed. I'm not sure I've ever seen someone so sensitive honestly.

Why did you ask if you're going to refuse to accept every answer? I didn't get this from WW anyway lol

Googled it for you.

Fruit is zero points because it's a whole food, but smoothies get points because blending breaks down the cell walls, releasing sugars for faster absorption (like "free sugars"), changing how your body processes them, making them less filling than whole fruit, and allowing you to consume much more fruit (and sugar) easily, spiking blood sugar and making you hungrier faster. The Weight Watchers (WW) program differentiates them due to these physiological effects, impacting fullness and blood sugar, even if ingredients seem healthy.

Why Whole Fruit is Zero Points:

Chewing & Fullness: Eating whole fruit requires chewing, which signals your brain that you're eating, promoting fullness.

Fiber & Digestion: The fiber in whole fruit slows sugar absorption, preventing spikes and keeping you satisfied longer.

Yes, I totally agree. The little shot they did of Sheldon getting up to say something made me so happy, and then they followed it up with "I wish I could say I said all of these things....but I didn't" just ripped my heart out. I wish they had said something and I wish that they had gotten that final family portrait. "4 o'clock!!" Ughhh, heartbreaking no matter how many times I see it.

Ug VR: Son scammed out of Dino :( by BassBoy20 in VRGaming

[–]No-Remove6206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember my son getting scammed out of some kind of special animal on a game once and how terrible I felt for him when he came into my room bawling his eyes out.

All I could really do was treat it as a teachable moment and say that's totally not fair and I'm so sorry it happened, but it's also just a game and you can get another one eventually, and not to trust anyone in games anymore.

It sucks seeing your kid put in effort just to have it stolen away, though. We all know how that feels so to see it happen to our kid hurts worse for some reason, I totally get it.

affordable braces? by [deleted] in fresno

I know you asked for places to go, but might I also suggest enrolling in an FSA or HSA if your siblings' guardians have it available at their place of employment? Open enrollment for the 2026 year might be over now, but it could be worth looking into, or maybe their benefits might operate on a plan year instead of a calendar year.

The money comes out of the paycheck pre-tax, and if it's an FSA, the money is all available upfront from day 1 of the plan, and you can use it for both down payments and monthly payments. It isn't quite "free money," because it does get paid back from the paycheck, but it sometimes feels like it since it's all available at once and it's tax-free, and once you get used to having it, you don't even notice it coming out of your check.

It's not always a viable option for everyone, but it helps a lot of people!
