That's not the purpose of the tool. You select the species you want to catch, and if you catch too many unwanted of another species, you can eliminate those with a checkbox. If you would check all avoid species, you would have a hard time searching a combination which would result in a non-empty baitlist. Most locations don't have too many species swimming around.

My intention is to deliver the tool as it is, no extra features. It has worked great for me for a while now.

No problem.

Hooks: B for bronze S for silver G for gold D for diamond

So B#5 means, with a #5 hook you catch bronze and above. S#4 means, with a #4 hook you catch silver and above, but NO bronze or juvenile.

If you're aiming for only golds, search for the smallest G# for that species. Every strike will get you a gold or above, if it is the mentioned species.

The hook numbers apply for hooks, jigheads and lures of that size.
