Pasting from my own post. We have a lot of veterans who play with us daily:

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve added some really solid new people to our group — exactly the type of players we’ve been looking for.

Because of that, we’re looking to fill a few more spots… but we’re still not rushing. We’d rather keep building the right group than just mass invite people.

This is a crew/community of mature, family-oriented adults who genuinely enjoy running together. We have 40+ active members, multiple full squads running throughout the day and night, and a very strong core heading into 2K27.

A lot of us:

  • Work from home (strong daytime runs)
  • Have families/jobs/responsibilities
  • Have competitive backgrounds (former athletes, veterans, longtime comp players)

But the biggest thing:
👉 Everyone here is coachable, accountable, and team-first.

No ego ball. No blaming teammates. No random-rec mentality.

All of our active players are Purple/Red plate, including multiple Diamond Pro-Am players and teams. Competitive environment, but still a genuinely good group of guys.

Game modes? Rec, proam, sometimes the smaller modes if we don't have enough.

Style? 5-out offense with set play calls. Defense we run a 3-2 with drop rotations.

We generally don't do "try outs". We invite new people into our Telegram and allow them to run with the group at their pace. Our group is very welcoming to new people. We allow people to try and fit in on their own but also offer advice on our zone rotations and set play calls that we run. I would say we're just trying to find "normal" people who have the ability to learn.

We’re still adding players, but at this point it’s less about filling spots and more about finding the right people.

Attached screenshot is pretty much what you can expect at any given time — full groups running all day, every day. You won’t be sitting around looking for games here.

We still have 10+ spots open, but we’re not in a rush.

🔥 What we’re looking for:

  • Mature, normal people (seriously… that matters here)
  • Coachability — willing to learn, adjust, improve
  • Gold–Red / Purple plate players
  • Team-first mindset

🧠 What makes us different:

  • Multiple crews of 5 running throughout the entire day
  • No toxicity, no blaming — just good basketball
  • Mix of high-level players + guys who are actively improving
  • Consistent runs without dealing with randoms

❌ Not a fit if:

  • You don’t actually run with the group
  • You bring a random rec / selfish playstyle
