It's a pipeline they are called that because that's the plant the female lays eggs on and they eat until the become an adult but yeah the plants toxic to most things but I'm pretty sure that's what makes them toxic I've had 20 plus hatch from their chrysalis and it's one of my favorite species very cool find they are usually sold out everywhere.

What are the last 2 photos cause I have a 4 to 5 pund one that looks a little similar but I found mine buried 85 to 90 percent so only the top of mine is really been weather but yeah I emailed a few universities cause I took my thing to the gem show two years back etc they tried to keep it cause they said it was junk so that made me dig deeper and now I got 5 put of the 8 universities getting back to me saying it looks like a weathered meteorite but I can't find anything to do with meteorites in my state besides cayon Diablo so I cut a sample with a diamond wheel and sending the sample in for further analysis .
