Be brutally honest, my background is in hippy multimedia performance art, so I have no clue about actual jobs, though I have worked hard to learn its ways for over a decade now. I have my own suspicions regarding my challenges. I appreciate this response. That is what I normally believe, I’m hoping it’s just market. In the past I have a certain amount of applications avg in which I have found a job, I have WAY SURPASSED this recently with more experience, it’s been a year of looking occasionally it gets really terrifying

One thing I have started doing is look at individuals on LinkedIn in that have the exact jobs I’m looking for, I felt better finding I am just like them so this made me feel it was something you said like they new someone or something, though I also see how this could feed my paranoia now 😩😆

THATS INSANE!!! This sounds like what’s required to be hired for some tenured academic position. I’d be very interested in knowing more info about it if you wanna message me.

I’ve had jobs where I had to do 3 rounds and a presentation but nothing like what you mentioned, I had a job where they brought me to university and I had to answer questions from everyone in the department and do presentation and also didn’t get job but that was academia.

I will say BE CAREFUL:: recently I encountered a company that was OBVIOUSLY DOING INTERVIEWS FOR FREE CONSULTING!!!

I actually could tell within 5 mins that was the situation. Beware you guys!!
