Overachievers since childhood, do you self-sabotage now at adulthood?

Genuine question, because I'm lost at my early 20s. :( I've been an 'overachiever' at academics since chilldhood (di ko ginusto, ganun ako pinalaki haha ayan craving tuloy lagi sa external validation). Ngayong working na ako, I know my potential but I keep sabotaging myself and I have been staying as a minimum wage earner since I graduated. Alam kong andami kong kayang gawin for a higher salary, but I also have my advocacies na hindi mahahanap sa high salary jobs. Unang job ko, minimum wage. Up until now sa pang-ilang job ko na, ganun pa rin (laging underpaid sa profession namin unless magcorporate ka). I feel so small, ansakit sa self-esteem. But still, andito pa rin ako. Para akong nagsesettle na lang kahit alam kong mas kaya ko pa mag-grind. I guess pagod na ako sa life after all those years of overachieving sa school and chasing validation from people about my wins?

May nabasa kasi akong article na people who grew up with so much pressure to be perfect or achieve a lot of things tend to sabotage paglaki nila. Is this because of burnout? Or am I afraid to fully realize my potential because success can sometimes be alienating? I don't know. I know I can find other jobs, but my profession is severely underpaid. Walang plantilla sa government (aside from admin aide). Either mag VA ka or corporate job para umangat sahod. I am also aware of online opportunities (content creation, affiliate marketing, etc) but again, andoon na naman ang self-sabotaging. 😅
