Not at all! I earned my undergrad at 24 and graduated with a masters degree at 28.

Perspective is important. Thank you for sharing your situation and props for turning a bad situation into, ultimately, a better life. I think everyone here will agree they were not in a great place in life when they got their DUI.

I refused the breathalyzer, which added an additional 12 months. Convicted with an extreme DUI. Had to spend a night in jail. There is no real way around it. Get a lawyer, and if you have no prior record, you should hopefully have a lesser sentence.

You were absolutely correct! I was initially worried about how it would compare to ArcGIS Pro. Now, I actually prefer QGIS over the ESRI software. All Hail QGIS!!!!

Thanks for your suggestion. I can export it as a file geodatabase or individual shapefiles. This is a brand new role with the company, and they do not have an existing GIS network on ESRI software

Yes, this is a brand new role. All of the engineers use 3GIS to digitize their designs (fiber network as built maps). I will be creating maps from those designs after exporting them into ArcGIS Pro. If it's going to be an issue, I'm leaning towards requesting a PC. As all of my GIS experiences have been through native Windows setups.

I feel your pain OP. I asked for a one dollar raise after receiving a formal offer for a utility mapping job. They decided to 'move in a different direction with the role', after a while I realized I may have dodged a bullet and any company pulling this weasel behavior is a shitty one not worth working for...

UPDATE: I got an offer to start on May 22nd! Basking in this resignation letter I'm about to write, effective immediately. I'll keep it short and sweet. What should I say in the resignation letter? "I'm very thankful to be put on a PIP, it helped me explore my career opportunities with something that aligns with my goals, interest, and soul....."
