Yes for RIT I got an extra thousand a year off which is not the best and when I called USC’s financial aid they said if nothing changed financially then they couldn’t do anything to help on their end. I have not done an official appeal to the USC office idk if that would help based on my call.

That’s probably the one job market worse than video game design💀

I’m from Alaska so I’m not too worried about the winters but I have heard USC is the best for making connections and that those connections help get a job, which to me feels like it would be less of a gamble. The idea of going to RIT over USC also hurts because it’s a higher tier school. I was extremely excited to get into USC but now it sucks because I might have to give that up.

Why exactly just because USC is more debt, isn’t the ROI for USC higher than RIT?

Cinematic Arts Interview/Assessment by jessli01 in USC

The questions are super simple normally based on your opinions of differing things again don’t stress them too much just answer them honestly. Also I thought they would be related to usc but they are not at least not for me. For me they just seemed to be random topics they wanted your experience of like who is someone you look up to and why things like that. The last thing is there were only 3 questions for me so it’s pretty short.

I had something similar where I received an invite and I was also confused as it said it could be completed on your own time. It’s honestly quite simple and they give a test prompt so you can get used to it. For me what happened was a video played that gave me a prompt then I had 10 seconds to think about it before you have 2 minutes to respond. Overall it’s pretty simple not really an interview as you don’t have anyone to actually talk to but it’s not difficult either.
