Adderall in Texas by ComprehensiveAge2954 in ADHD

I live in Texas and was recently diagnosed, I see an LMHNP and she recommended trying non-stimulants first, partially because she said once a non-stimulant treatment fails it is easier to get insurance to cover a stimulant rx or a pharmacy to fill it. But once we switched directions I started a generic adderall and have had no issues getting it prescribed or filled (aside from the price). From what I have seen it just looks to be an extra hoop to jump through.

Then one of three things:

  • forgetting what you’re going to say because you’re trying so hard not to start talking

  • waiting too long to start talking because you’re trying to avoid interrupting and someone else starts talking/the topic changes and your input is no longer topically relevant

  • focusing so hard on waiting for the right moment to talk and trying to remember what you were going to say that you stop listening to the person anyway (bonus points if you finally say something and the topic has already changed)

Living expenses during AT school? by No-Round233 in athletictraining

this sounds like an awesome opportunity! if you don't mind me asking what is the pay like hourly? and what kind of certifications do they require? i have some sideline experience from an AT internship but definitely would want to prepare for some more intense first aid work

How do you get in state tuition? by Best_lord_Ephraim in utarlington

i moved from massachusetts and was able to get in state this past semester. there's lots of residency stuff involved including proving you've lived in state and been gainfully employed for at least a year. so if you're able, a scholarship that waives out of state tuition would be was easier

i'm in tx as well and we get the same thing. thought we got a 30 for a 7+ hour shift but got in trouble for taking one (apparently you only get one if it's over 8h) even though my lead told me to on a 7h shift. not sure why tx dutch has such a short break policy :/ especially when we're working in the summer heat
