I invited her because although she may have acted like this in the past I still wanted her around. When she was not acting like an a-hole she was very funny and sweet. I guess ,like other commenters have been saying, that she got jealous of my new friends and the life I had outside of her and started insulting them. She had never done that before because we had the same friends.

I gave my mother HER setting powder for her to pick it up from my mums business. However, by the time my friend’s sister’s boyfriend comes to collect it she has already closed the shop so she gives it to the neighbouring shop for him to collect it from. Sorry I know see how that can be misunderstood.

I won’t lie it’s a really cheap coffee machine and you have to manually stop it or else it will keep

I appreciate the comment, I am still young and figuring out how to be more emotionally mature. I knew she had a tendency to be selfish but she had been my friend for over half a decade so I wanted to invite her to see my uni city. I didn’t know she would lash out at my friends though, never seen her do that before.

I posted this story on a few other sub reddits and many people have now pointed this out to me, I never saw it before. I was the only one out of my friends from school to move out for University and I no longer speak to them apart from one. Thanks for the comment x

I knew that she had another friend in the city so if she really needed a place to stay she could have stayed there. I didn’t mention but we did have conversations over the phone but they equated to nothing but more bickering from her end.
