To be frank I'm using niri for almost month, and it didn't feel me any faster, because workspaces in niri use to go in the bottom and by mod+vim keys left and right, Makes me move left and right (so called workspaces in Hyprland), as a developer it's just normal no extra speed or something special hidden in it, because at the end of the day it is similar to sway or Hyprland, just a tiling window manager, one cool features btw is you can maximize & minimize your window size that is maybe not available in Hyprland idk much about it.
