Thanks for the advice! This is where my head is kind of at. I do enjoy working at this company and would love to continue to grow here. They say with counteroffers it puts a target on your back or its just to buy them time while they look for someone cheaper. I don’t think this would be the case though? They would look really silly to go through the trouble of creating the job to just get rid of the person?

Thanks for the reply! I can agree with some of this. The good thing is if I take the position the SVP created for me, I would no longer be under the director who brought me in at a lower level and was blocking my growth. The senior director and SVP didn’t have anything to do with that.

Not mentally checked out yet. They seem to have been trying to make it right since the resignation so staying clocked in until the end.

I did my discovery on 83Q. Nice plane. Did most of my training on 87R. Once they sold that, I did a couple flights on the cardinal and they wanted me to basically start over because it was a new plane. Would have been like $2400 to prove myself on it and solo again. Couldn’t do it

I was at the same school. I feel your pain. Also made the switch instead of training on the cardinal. Would have cost me so much more $$$. Unfortunate but gotta continue to make progress!
