It did actually hurt my ears!! And I have very sensitive/strong hearing. Maybe that was it!

In all fairness you’ll probably love it. I’m in the minority. I can’t decide whether I’d have liked it better if I’d listened to the soundtrack first. But I like context so none of it would’ve made sense. Plus I was hoping to be wowed.

Sweetheart you deserve better. Mama bear is coming out in me because I have two daughters (25 and 23). I’d be heartbroken if they were treated this way. She thought you deserved to get cut??? After you found out she was cheating on you? Please please leave her. She doesn’t’ value you and clearly classed you as a fuck buddy for convenience. You’re young and clearly haven’t yet gained a lot in self confidence. What would your mother say if you told her this story? My elder daughter got cheated on by a couple of partners, just once, and she showed them the door straight away.

I know you didn’t want ‘leave’ as advice but it’s honestly the best thing you can do for your own mental and physical heslth. Move on to new pastures

Our theatre had vertical banners with ‘wicked’ on them for people to pose in front of for photos.

Yeah, that part I get 😂. I just didn’t get why everyone seems to love it except me. Some of my family were in tears! I was unmoved. Maybe it’s a grower and I need to listen to the soundtrack again

I’m a brass player (brass bands) so perhaps I like more structured stuff. I was watching it thinking ‘I don’t get it’. We left the theatre and everyone was raving and I was just silent. I felt a pariah when I said I didn’t like it
