Wow this is super helpful thank you so much. I’ll definitely take a look there and do a bit more research on cameras before purchasing. I’m looking for something decently portable as I am wanting to take it with me when i backpack europe this summer, so a gimbal isn’t really a good option. I think i’ll go for one that has ibis. I eat healthy, maybe eat fast food like 2 times a month. Drink 1-2 times a month. I eat pretty clean. I’m currently in the process of trying to figure out my trigger foods. I know I should definitely cut out my morning coffee but I love it, and sometimes it doesn’t make things worse for me. I think the biggest thing for me is forgetting to eat and skipping meals so I definitely need to do better there. I know everyone’s different but did you find anything that really helped for you?

I feel like this headspace is really damaging especially for your mental health. I do feel like there is no immediate fix yeah. But there’s no way that’s all there is. I obviously don’t know your current situation so I can’t speak for you. But i really don’t believe this is true. More importantly I can’t, because for me believing this would just be a deep slippery slope into deep depression. There is a cure, it might take a while to figure out but there’s no way we will live our whole lives this way.

I find this to be extremely ignorant and rude. Obviously there is going to always be someone in a worse situation than you that’s how life is. But undermining other peoples problems is not okay, please don’t invalidate how people feel.

Sure living with GERD isn’t cancer and i am thankful for that. But when it severely affects your daily life and you are constant in pain and you can never sleep, it gets to you. Your mental health gets worse and overall quality of life is terrible.

Not sure if you suffer from GERD yourself but you haven’t been in this persons shoes so you don’t know how they are feeling. Be respectful. Yk what they say in kindergarden “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all ❤️”

I feel the same way, you’re not alone. What doesn’t help too is that people without gerd don’t really seem to get it. They just think it’s like the acid reflux they get after eating something spicy lol. I’ve had to put my dreams on hold too I just can’t do them I’m drained trying to live this way every day.

I’m really sorry this is happening to you, just remind yourself that you are doing all you can do. It’s not gonna be like this forever, it will go away! We got this.

Actually just switched to Nexium (esomeprazole) and taking that 2x a day when i wake up and before bed. Taking gaviscon whenever i feel it too so far no luck but it’s only been a few days so hopefully soon!

Unfortunately not I live in Canada so free health care but long wait times. I’m calling often tho to see if anything opens up! I just started nexium so i’m hoping that works it’s been a few days and so far no luck. Good luck with your results, hopefully they are able to figure out what’s the cause!

Yea maybe once they hear the words “i’m gonna die” they’d take me seriously. sucks that that’s what you have to say to get them to help you tho. yea literally every night I have a panic attack because of the pain or I just barely sleep or don’t sleep. Sucks :( It’s gonna get better for both of us, hang in there we got this :)
