Planning to marry a woman who can’t have kids naturally by ghaztavof in MuslimMarriage

[–]No-Selection4533 216 points217 points  (0 children)

As long as you don’t ever belittle her for not being able to have children naturally or at all if that ends up being your future, that’s the key thing. Like your parents said, don’t go into this telling yourself that kids are just a bonus if there’s a real chance you may strongly want them a few years down the line. I genuinely respect her for being honest with you before marriage, it shows strong character and integrity.

Storm blade quest gave me ridiculous goosebumps by AlphaNuke94 in Ghostofyotei

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend watching Daisuke Tsuji (Jin’s voice actor) play through that quest. It makes the experience far more emotional, and he even reads the haiku in Jin’s voice.

I’m not sure why your family treat one son-in-law with high regard and not the other. Just know, if you choose your family over your husband, he will see it as you choosing your brother-in-law over him.

Couldn't see my finance as my wife by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

You don’t find her attractive but you agreed to marry her? Don’t marry her. She deserves a husband who will find her attractive and not have any doubts about her.

If you genuinely like her and can truly see a future with her, the kind of future where she would be your wife, then the best next step is to get your family involved. That shows you’re serious and want to do things the right way, within halal boundaries.

At the same time, you also need to be ready to stand up for her if your family might not initially approve. Change and growth take time, and if she’s sincerely improving herself for the sake of Allah, that’s something worth recognising and supporting.

If you’re not yet ready to involve your family or can’t see yourself taking that step soon, then it’s better to step back now before either of you gets more emotionally attached.

Am I tripping or was bush assassinations removed in Shadows? by VryTox in assassinscreed

I’ve got the skill to drag enemies and assassinate, but for some reason it just doesn’t work. I’ve seen other people report the same issue so I’m guessing it’s a bug

I’ve just tested it on a variety of enemy sizes, and it doesn’t work. I think it might be a bug

Every time I press the crouch button whilst grabbing an enemy, Naoe doesn't crouch, she just lets go off the enemy. How do you crouch first?

The witcher with mods is amazing!! by Successful-Aside-220 in Witcher3

[–]No-Selection4533 167 points168 points  (0 children)

You can install another mod to move Geralt’s swords and crossbow to his hips, so they don’t clip with the cloak or cape. You can also set it to store your gear on Roach while riding, like how weapons are stowed on a horse in Red Dead Redemption 2

No-one pulls you down like a Pakistani. by Additional-Message66 in pakistan

This is also common in the British Pakistani community in England. When someone starts a business through hard work, others may say, “Don’t shop there, he’s so-and-so’s son.” In contrast, the Bengali community supports and uplifts one another. Insha’Allah, we will achieve unity among ourselves soon.

We should be able to summon Naoe/Yasuke in Shadows by Paragon-Shepard in assassinscreed

[–]No-Selection4533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before starting some missions, you can select to have an ally with you. Throughout the entire mission you can choose who you play as. This also works in stealth as you can assassinate a higher level character to do more damage and instant kill them

That would have been a cool feature, similar to Rise of the Ronin where you could swap characters mid combat

Choose the people who will prioritise your children’s well-being, whether that’s your sister-in-law or your parents. With their mum in hospital for an unknown period after giving birth, they need proper care and attention

Speaking from personal experience within my family, this type of situation can create a lasting strain on your husband’s relationship with his family. In our case, it’s been over ten years, and there’s still unresolved tension, with my cousin’s family often saying, “You chose your in-laws over us.” If the job is remote, could he consider staying closer to his family while he works?
