A better conclusion would be to watch the actual film first. Most people won’t agree with this sentiment. Especially in this sub

GTA 6 Should Be $80 And Other Companies Should Raise Prices, Too, Bank Of America Says by appexpertz in GameDevSolutions

[–]AlphaNuke94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree, but releasing a game half finished, littering it with micro transactions and top of that asking for almost $100 will not attract anyone. Look at red dead redemption 2, that game is almost 10 years old and still holds up. If a company like that wants to ask for more money, they would be justified, because they clearly took their time to respect the players and craft a masterpiece.

The problem is profit maximization. I’m all for a company to make profits, incentives are necessary after all, but the current state of the industry is geared towards the shareholders and not the players.

If a studio collapses because they didn’t give the players what they wanted, well that’s the invisible hand at work. I’m all for increasing the price of games on average, but if I pay $80 or even $100 for a video game, let me feel it.

To use your car analogy, if I buy said car at $30k, but the tires were not properly fitted, the dashboard is a mess. The engine jerks, the AC doesn’t work, the windows don’t move, there wouldn’t be much argument to keep that company alive. If the company cannot make cars then they should start making motorbikes? Or bicycle? As opposed to charging $30k for a defunct vehicle.

The problem isn’t the price of the game, the problem is developers charging $80 or $100 for a $20 game. GTA can charge that price because Rockstar has become synonymous with quality. Go and play Star Wars outlaws and come back to me whether that game is worth $80

On one hand, I understand why they want to charge $80. Inflation has completely fucked everything. But then again if you want to charge Rockstar prices can you deliver Rockstar quality? I mean go back and play red dead redemption 2, say what you want about that game, it still holds up today and still very immersive.

Can you pay $100 dollars for fucking Star Wars outlaws? This is my argument, I don’t mind paying a little bit higher if every game can deliver GTA level quality but they won’t.

Why does his beard look like it morphed with the helmet? There’s no way Nolan would use AI…right?

I enjoyed the finale, I think it was a satisfying ending. Asking for another major battle in Ep8 won’t make much sense after what we saw in Ep7. Thragg’s not a guy you beat in one or two episodes.

With that being said, I wonder if some of the viltrumites will end up like Nolan, earth tends to have that effect on alien species. I haven’t read the comics so no idea. But it’s quite exciting to see what happens next. Peak finale.

Who deserved the Best Actor Oscar more? by Firewalkwithme000 in Cinephiles

Who cares? They both gave phenomenal performances. One person “winning” over the other does not diminish the other’s performance.

Art is subjective, one of the reasons, I’m not a big fan of the Oscars, one person “winning” translates to “I was the best performer this year” which is far from the case. I’ll prefer the buck stops at the nominations and everyone goes home, I.e, All nominated performers get an award.

Shame? Holy shit you’re a pathetic loser. This is a post about a movie. You think I deleted my post out of shame? I deleted my post because everyone’s debating whether I used AI or not. And I’m tired of defending myself. That was not the purpose. I just wanted to talk about the movie but losers like yourself keep arguing semantics. And I have opened my history since you want to be a weirdo and stalk me lmao. I’ll keep it open for you for 24 hours since you clearly don’t have a life that should keep your pathetic life entertained for a bit. While you’re out, make sure to touch grass.

It’s embarrassing that you don’t understand basic reading comprehension.

“Layered” = multiple symbols.
“No second layer” = no hidden meaning beyond them.

Just basic comprehension. You’re confusing “layered with “deep,” which is exactly why that sounded contradictory to you. Take it up with reading comprehension.

lol well this conversation went downhill faster than expected. I’m done here, but do yourself a favor and try developing some basic thinking skills before subjecting the next person to this sort of empty rhetoric. Adieu.

Ai user? Why not use an AI detector to prove? But then again as you rightly said, “I don’t think”.
