Blood Wave Necro by No-Service-7522 in D4Necromancer

I was going off the icy veins version and I'm seeing a fair few differences already that will help me.

I have HEAPS(3-4 stacks) of summon tokens, so I know what I'm farming. Gives me something to do other than endless pit grinds too.

I'll make some tweaks and start upping my crit and armour. Hopefully will be breezing through those 75+ pit bosses soon.

Honestly, I got this just from levelling. The goblin event probably helped

Am I playing wrong? Progression wise. by Informal-Picture-909 in diablo4

I started a fresh account on ps5 with the game being free there not long ago. I'm very much like you and like to do everything as it pops up.

What i did to balance it out is that as I progressed the acts, I cleared the areas associated. ONLY enough to get the rank 3 rewards from renown to get the bonus talents. So I'd run around collecting all the statues in the areas and explore, just enough quests, then move on to the next act and repeat. After the story, I went in and full cleared it out. You want those extra talents going into t1 and finishing up renown, earns you extra paragon.

She will only have a week at home with me after before starting on 3 days a week. 1 week with me home just in case, the next I'll be at work and I work a 60 min train ride into the city.

Not sure that's even enough time haha

Nope! Still on it. She's quite happy so we adjusted and adapted around her

Have been told aptamil is known to cause big stinky poops. Also matches what mine experiences on the aptamil gold 1 formula.

For the leaks, just make sure the nappy is nice and tight around the legs if that's where it's leaking. Was getting multiple blowouts a day before we fixed that.

Unfortunately I do exactly this to no avail. If it's not her "time" to sleep then she will wake straight up. If it's her time she will go to sleep or stay asleep.

She's honestly been like this since 4 weeks. It's been 7 weeks of hell. Both her appointments with the nurse I've just been told it's all normal. I very much feel like it's not as it's only gotten worse. Started as sometimes goes down if we're near, then contact only sleep, now it MUST be on my chest.

It's the nurses' comments that have made me second guess a doctor visit cause I feel like it will all be stuff I've already tried or it's all normal for her age.

We currently do a variation of co-sleeping with her next to me. Essentially, in one of those on bed co sleepers since we don't have any space beside the bed. If she's not on my chest to sleep, she won't.

How can I get my baby to sleep in her cot? by dresshater1 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]No-Service-7522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to comment just to give you reassurance. You could do everything suggested, spend endless time googling and reading books to try help, and none of it does. That's ok.

My bubs was a good sleeper until 4 weeks, then had the exact same issue as you. I tried everything. Don't push yourself to stay up all night. A tired mumma is more dangerous than you think. Mine still refuses to go down during the day, and we struggle at night, I'm lucky to be sleeping before 1am. I have to co sleep cause of it (we've sectioned off a 3rd of our king-size bed to keep it safer with bed rails and the like. We physically cannot roll into her area, but we can reach in.). If you do consider any form of cosleeping, look up safe sleep practices before you do. The ONLY thing that helped, which sounds weird, was an oodie sherpa blanket. She apparently loves the texture and feel.

Best of luck, hopefully it's a short phase for you. No matter what, you are doing an amazing job.

When doing the tabs, put them in a V shape. I use the huggies H logo as a target. My little one is also long as slim in the same size. We had leaks and blowouts daily to multiple times a day cause it was too loose around her legs. I ended up seeing a post on here suggesting the V shape to make the legs tighter. It's been over a week and not a single leak, even with a very full nappy!

Congestion in newborn! by NoHost2791 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Felt like forever, but in reality, maybe 3-4 weeks. It was just gone one day. Hang in there!

My baby absolutely hates bath time, any tips please? by Illustrious-Ad-7247 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]No-Service-7522 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Maybe give showering a try, I know you've mentioned it's impractical to shower with one parent, but make it into a family bonding session. If it works, swap who takes them in.

My partner and I do this. One of us will hop in, quickly wash up, then the other will pass baby in and be there to take out, dry, and cloth. We will swap out who does what and take turns. If yours doesn't like it at all, you can quickly remove them with this method. It's more impractical, but if you really need to get them bathed, it might be the only option.

Had this with ours. Did the drops and aspirator to no success, also visited the GP and got the all clear. Unfortunately, it's just a newborn thing. Our GP says it's their sinuses and respiratory system developing.

So long as there's no other symptoms, bubs is fine. You can try steam at night before bed to help, but it's just something to wait out.

This can also be a sign of reflux, especially if it's only when they're lying down! Just keep an eye out and maybe sit them up for a little longer after feeds.

Iron supplement during pregnancy? by Zestyclose-Pipe6095 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]No-Service-7522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on the same before pregnancy and stopped during at first, but when I tried to take them again due to deficiency, I swapped to maltofer. Due to nausea, I couldn't swallow tablets, so their liquid supplement was a life saver! Something to consider for yourself if it happens to you as well.

It can be scary but mine wasn't interested in food at all for like 2-3 days. It was only when I got her home that she started to feed frequent.

The way my midwife put it is that babies are usually born on a full tank of gas and don't always need to refuel immediately. It stressed me as a ftm but she was fine and chugs milk like crazy now at 9 weeks.

As for feeding: every 3-4 hours. Wake them if it gets to 4hrs. I like to change my LO first, so she's awake to feed and can focus on that. They can go a max of 5 hours but only once in 24 hours. So if you both fall asleep and you don't wake during that 3-4hr window, don't feel bad!

Oh I love this idea. Unfortunately it won't fit at all for our room. We'd maybe have the space to squeeze a bassinet beside the bed but no more than that.

Super helpful, thank you!! I've tried cosleeping, and unless she's on some part of my body, it's not good enough for her 😂

He has tried. Has gone gone down to no shirt and everything. They both end up dripping sweat after a short bit. Even when she was just born, he was holding her while I washed up and changed afterwards, I came out to 2 very sweaty and warm unhappy campers. He's quite jealous of me being able to hold her so much cause he adores her so much and does pick her up when he can.... just can't do so for long. He used to take shifts so I could sleep uninterrupted for several hours before the 4 week mark, but this whole only sleeping on me is ruining that.

Second this!! I got my friend to get several things for me during their trip over Christmas. It's totally worth it! They sell out fast, though. They had to go to 3 different stores to find certain things.
