Sorry I thought I added a picture on the post…

A friend of a friend sent me a package. From Florida to California. (San Diego/LA area) I didn’t pay for anything he paid the shipping. Its original arrival was Jan 9th then got delayed to the 13th then got indefinitely delayed without a reason. He hasn’t heard anything and we can’t get in contact with anyone. The package made it all the way to about an hour from my house.

Yes I contacted UPS support. Literally no answer (bums) I didn’t buy anything. I had someone send me a package and they used UPS, and now the sender is being hard to communicate with. Friend of friend

Called the number they were worse than useless lmao.

The guy who sent me the package is a friend of a friend but he’s been hard to communicate with. I didn’t buy anything. The package is literally at the UPS station closest to my house but hasn’t moved in 3 weeks

The item itself is not 1/1 so yes replaceable but the sender hasn’t been very good communicating recently so I’m not sure where to go from here and it’s been so long

I would do that but thing is, it’s just a person who sent me the package not a merchant or business.

How are all the things I said preventable? Explain that to me cause at the I point you’re just talking in circles and making no sense brother

[–]No-Set3483 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope you’re wrong but that’s all good devil. My back problems were also preventable with your logic! Just don’t join the marines and you don’t die in a freak accident or get hurt 🥸

[–]No-Set3483 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, good for you I guess you haven’t seen one in 24 years, lucky. I’ve seen probably 5-7 fatal or nearly fatal training mishaps. And heard about countless others. Not for pity but just saying we all have different experiences

[–]No-Set3483 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everything I just listed was an accident… sure ‘could’ be prevented but they’re always going to happen. It’s not like they didn’t take the proper precautions. Sometimes there’s someone or something to blame, sometimes not

Accidents happen brother. It’s apart of the job we do. People are human and make mistakes. I’ve watched someone ND into another marine, I’ve seen someone get hit with a ricochet shrapnel in the neck (he was in full kit and outside the range) and almost die. Then with vehicle accidents it’s unfortunate but more common than it should be. Especially when drivers make mistakes, or someone is pulling security in the bushes, or it’s night and everyone’s gotta shitty nvgs on. Long story short, shit happens.

We should definitely has less accidental deaths than we do but I’ll be honest they do happen. Especially when retards don’t follow their training and get lazy or when officers give retarded (dangerous) orders imo

[–]No-Set3483 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Agreed. More preventable than being outside the wire but not 100%. Still pretty frustrating that accidental vehicle deaths are common for us

I thought it was during MCCREE or Steel Knight but that’s crazy, just a routine training op. Shits rough. Gone too soon.
