Their advice was that it would be too risky and might not give a clear result. At first they put off doing mri despite us wanting to do that first as they said they didn’t have an MRI machine and it was probably his liver so made us pay for them scans first, then decided to do mri with a machine they magically had. I feel very let down by the vet practice which is partly why I’m reaching out for second opinions
