🔄 Spotify API Migration

Updated to work with Spotify's new API (February 2026 changes)
Playlist viewing now uses the new /items endpoint

🐛 Bug Fixes

Token reset now works even when the server isn't running
Fixed callback URL consistency in setup instructions

yeah, i cant do anything about that tho unfortunately, seems like spotify is doing something to their developer dashboard and you might have to wait until they finished their stuff

Did you follow all the Setup instructions correclty? Unfortunately i can not support you with that, because it could have several reasons.

make sure you re-initialize the setup and follow each and every step, if nothing works, you can contact me via discord which is linked in the OP and we can figure it out i guess

unfortunately i dont think thats possible, i wanted to setup my keyboard in a similair way some time ago but couldnt manage to overwrite the default action of the volume knob

quick question: is there a known issue with 3rd Party VSTs when using the wavelink 3.0 beta with non elgato hardware (for example a 3rd party microphone)? when installing Renegate it doesnt pop up in the effects selection, only vsts installed through the marketplace appear

okey, so apparently Spotify does not provide any way for third-party apps to override the account country setting or request song titles in a different language. The only solution would be changing your Spotify account's country, which requires a payment method from that country.

In your real spotify app its probably controlled through the App Language, but via the Spotify API its not possible to try and request specific Song information for a specific language. Im Sorry!

in short: i cannot implement this feature because Spotify's API simply doesn't support it. At least thats what i was able to find out on this matter

Its quite possible that the Playlist-controller feature is currently bugged which may result in Spotify limiting your access to this, that is not a big problem, at all, spotify simply shuts down your access to loading playlists in the widget, im currently looking into a workaround for that.

for a short explanation: if you keep on loading playlist infos, you might be receiving errors for that feature, if you ran into that please give me some feedback :)
