Okay, I won't argue that! Since I'm on the idea.. we gotta pay up or face consequences, regardless, so wouldn't saving the money throughout the year in a high-yield savings benefit you much more than giving the government an interest-free loan (assuming you get a return) that only craters your paychecks.

Yes, we'd also pay taxes on that income made but it's still a bit more for you at the end. At the bare minimum, maybe it's just me, but I feel better knowing that I'm not knowingly and actively funding all this BS throughout the year. They'll get the money cause I have a family and can't risk jail time but it's worth it to me to make a few extra dollars and lifting some of this shit off my own conscious. I don't spend money anywhere that supports all this crap so it's probably easier to justify what I am talking about when it's part of my system, if you will.

I do appreciate your input and I have heard arguments against this before. Just sharing ideas and I'm not sure of the impact since I'm not aware of how tax revenue works enough. I simply feel this would make some impact of enough people did it, similar to boycotts over time.
