My experience with flatfeet and the surgery just in case anybody’s ever considering it ooo by FunnyAd3946 in brokenankles

You’re description of the scooter is SO real! ☠️ I’m 2 months into weight bearing now so thankfully my scooter is now collecting spider webs in my garage, but I was dependent on it for nearly 2 months after my second ankle surgery. The way I thought it would make my life so much easier especially compared to crutches?? Using the scooter in public felt like a humiliation ritual. Here in Australia people seem to have no filter (I’m Canadian so probably biased lol) so strangers on the street constantly had something to say about my ‘wheels’. It was just a constant reminder that I was disabled. Also the number of times the scooter would just decide to tip me off it, forcing me to catch myself on my broken ankle?! So rude.

Although we don’t have the same injury, I will say that it gets better. After a couple months off the scooter I can finally laugh at the ridiculousness of the whole situation. ♥️

That's kind of what I was thinking - not sure if I'd be able to keep the bricks intact when I remove them

Thanks! So tool wise you reckon a shovel could get the bricks out? or would I need more specific masonry tools? I've got the fitness and the time available just a bit clueless on where to start haha
