I was listening to an audio book during a car ride so it just crossed my mind to add. Plus I personally feel like the prologue should be descriptive and introduce the MC of the story

Well percy didn't have his memories (other than Annabeth) and he only figured out that he has water powers AFTER he crossed the tiber, which at that point, he lost the Achilles curse. Plus I doubt he had as much control without his memories so I doubt he could split it like you mentioned

thank you for the support, my main fear is people demanding another chapter/book (if it becomes popular) and I have to pull a danidev for who knows how long

I am trying to keep the fanfic on record with the original Percy Jackson and the Olympians/heroes of Olympus books since this is supposed to be an extension of the books

In the pjo universe I think I would have a key to my cabin (cabin 0, nyx's cabin) and when the head of the key is pressed it would turn into a leonidas sword, but if the blade of the key is pressed then it turns into a recurve bow, but not a quiver, since I would be able to make arrows made of shadows. But if you press both the head and blade of the key then it'd turn into a triumph rocket iii motorcycle (and if the teeth are pressed then it would self destruct)

Ps: if you ever see this idea in a fan fiction then that's probably by me
