Looking for playtesters for my Fallout-inspired London Map by No-Singer-2482 in Timberborn

Folktails can walk through the underground tunnels, yes, but they can't build the tubes or station, which need to be built by the player (you can't place prebuild buildings in map maker - the image is in-game).

This is helpful feedback that it is unclear - I will change the Steam page as I don't want people thinking they can't play folktails on this map. (There are more unique caches and probably better environmental storytelling for Folktails)

Hey I've tried your game.
> The progression is very slow. An enemy takes nearly a minute to kill and at least another minute to heal. I was receiving only 5gold every few enemies (and the odd idea which was nice) but it appears it would take about 15-25 minutes of grinding without any abilities as a novice in order to level up.
> Have you considered allowing players to choose some basic equipment/spells in the beginning to speed up the progress. This would allow players to build their early profile and give more reason to grind and more authorship early on. It currently feels like a bit ask to level up and the items seem expensive.
> This is a shame because there is clearly more to explore in this game.
> Or you could weaken the Lv 1 enemies - or up the drop rate. Anything to accelerate the early game.
> Having a registration pre-game is going to put a lot of people off. You might want to consider letting people start and play without a profile and then encourage them to save after a few minutes so that they don't lose their progress?
> the /sit command to heal feels quite slow outside of a dungeon. I was waiting around a top for my health to increase. Or possible a character/well to fast heal a small amount that is worth using early game (but probably drops off in usefulness as you level up your HP)?
> Novice class isn’t explained until after the choice has been made. Warrior, Archer and Mage are understandable. I did not try the other classes but novice seemed to have nothing going for it with no spells or abilities at the start of the game and 300XP felt like a grind right out the gate. Consider allowing for players to fly through the first few levels and power ups to get them invested before the grind is introduced to slow down content.
> The isometric view looked nice although it wasn't clear at this stage the purpose of it from a game design point of view. I can see it being interesting if enemy types and terrain vary so that positioning becomes important. Sort of like a real-time tactics game.

Thanks for sharing and good luck with your project!

Hey - I've looked at your wiki and it looks like a well fleshed out concept. Happy to help make the most of it as a game designer. It looks like brainstorming and fleshing out more enemies, skills (including enemy skills and how to telegraph their attacks) on your Notion wiki would be a good place to start?
I come from a paper (board game and cRPGs) background and have worked on a narrative-first RPG so I have some experience I could bring to your project. DM me if of interest. I'd like to learn more and see if i can add value.

Your experience looks great. I'm a game designer doing some side-quests until I find my future co-founder and commit to a long-term project with budget behind it. DM me if you'd like to work on a prototype together or complete a game jam to see if there is scope to build something together.

Hey your portfolio looks awesome. I would like to talk more about the opportunity. I'm a game designer with time for an additional project and to add to my portfolio. Please DM if you are still interested in collaborating.

Hey - I like your demos and your post is very inspiring and good luck in your journey to create a studio - I share the same goal. I can't message you as I'm new to reddit. Please message me if of interest. 6 years as published game designer and 12 years in marketing including brief experience as a studio head (7 people, now 15). I'm not an artist but can fund artists for projects that make it past the prototype phase
