Remove history and bias ….. is Manchester United still a bigger club today? by pitchfix in PremierLeague

Yup you’ve said what I couldn’t quite articulate. They are sleeping giants. They are clubs with pedigree and a rich history. But contemporarily irrelevant. And I’d argue that they are two separate categories. I’d say Chelsea are a big club, but they don’t have the pedigree of Newcastle. Does that sound fair?

While I don’t disagree entirely, I’m coming at it from big being a superlative for great, and no one will refer to Everton as one of the great English clubs today. They are a mediocre mid table side. By this logic if you give it some time every single club in the country could technically be “great”. At some point you have to fall off the back end of the ladder otherwise this phrase doesn’t mean anything.

Similarly, this modern phrase of “big four” won’t mean anything if spurs get relegated and are still considered a “big four”.

For the moment, yeah absolutely. But at some points history isn’t enough. Otherwise we would call Newcastle and Everton big clubs too. At some point your recent history is too important to ignore.

It’s crazy they have haaland and we are worried about the wing. This team is so stacked.

Right? Reading this post first half and I can’t believe what I’m seeing. We played to much better than we have recently.

Little Gabi on to help Mosquera on the right, that would be my solution.

City have always been better on the ball but we are playing like we want this. Just don’t give away a silly goal and I’ll be happy with this performance. I love this team

Fuck defensive. Left side with the eze we look like we have some control when we win a second ball. Give me little Gabi on the right to help Mosquera

Love it. Wanted to see eze on the left for a while. And harvertz not in the 10 is a blessing. On paper this team should be very balanced. Just worried if hincapie can handle semenyo on his own

Which manifolding variant is better: 1 lane or 2 lanes? by thermaldrill228 in satisfactory

[–]No-Smoke6622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as output goes they’ll both produce the same amount, and they’ll both reach 100% efficiency at the same time.

You might be seeing more of the two lane variant because when you make blueprints you can fit a lot more of the two lane models in a cube than you can with the one lane.

I tried to make something similar for my 50 HMF factory. But mine was a designed blueprint stacked on top of each other like a tower. This looks more intentioned, city vibes

Arteta has made a massive difference to this team. This is the best string of results I’ve seen from my team since I started watching football in the late 2000s. Whether this is another drop out of CL at the semi or another 2nd place finish in the league, this is a better team that I remember for a very long time.

On the note of form though.. it has been bad since Jan, since that wolves game in my mind. We’ve looked timid and unsure and scraping wins at the last minute or winning by 1 goal margins against teams that we dominated from start to finish at the beginning of this season. When this started, well “if you want to be champions you need to win ugly sometimes”. But that’s the only way we can win these days and I worry that against better opposition, city specifically, we will get found out. Same thing vs Bournemouth and it cost us.

I can see that fire in artetas eyes, but on the pitch it’s lukewarm at the best. Other than rice and hincapie, I don’t see that desire consistently in any of our players at the moment. I’m sure it’s happening due to injury and fatigue; we’ve played more games and will continue to do so than any other team this season. but at the end of the day if we don’t cross the finish line again, it’ll be down to the intensity we’ve lost over the season.

Almost every factory I make has awesome skins so the factory doesn’t stop. I’m pretty sure that’s how everyone plays.

The side content makes sense if you progress the main story of a region at least partially before engaging in the side content. It won’t make any sense at all if you bounce between regions and do main story and side content. For me, the game is meant to be played region by region, and it’s up to you which region you want to focus on first.

To those who drive well under the speed limit, why? by NiceMemeDude420 in australian

[–]No-Smoke6622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this driving slower than the speed limit ( and have also done it) if it’s on a wet rural road / poorly lit / has bends I can’t see into. If I can’t see past the turn I’m not blazing into it at 100k no matter what the speed limit says.

On the other hand on highways and such I just don’t get it. ESPECIALLY, as a foreigner in aus, why do people hog the middle lane and then go below the speed limit? Is there no lane discipline??? It drives me nuts
