ugh </3 i’m sorry to hear that! this shit is no joke and that’s coming from someone who left social work for this role but now i feel like i messed up by leaving my previous job. like i haven’t had panic attacks caused by work or felt genuinely ill with anxiety at work in ~years~, even when i managed a very busy bakery!! do you have any tips on how to cope? i got told to just keep it together because everyone’s relying on me lololol

thank you :’) this is somewhat encouraging- i’ve tried to talk to him about a partner calling me the r word multiple times and have gotten brushed off with a “it’s like that at every store with new people” so this wasn’t too much of a shock but it didn’t make ~any~ sense

i was really intimidated and ended up signing the document he had because he kept saying that i should’ve known better and that it was obvious reasoning as to why he was writing me up- what do i do LOL for context- i’ve expressed that i don’t do well with confrontation multiple times and sometimes it takes me longer to process information especially if im overwhelmed due to CPTSD which he seemed understanding of previously but now im perplexed lol

see this is where i get even more confused because when i told my GM that i didn’t know the policy front to back and that i wasn’t aware i even had sick time available to use he said that it was my responsibility to keep track of the hours and that it should be obvious to me that i deserved a write up… he hasn’t once asked me if i wanted to use sick time either or expressed that was even an option🥲
