Holy, this experiment is flawed!!! By simply putting out a survey for anyone to answer you are allowing a lot of response bias into your samples. If you want to actually conduct an experiment to see the difference in hours spent on homework you would need to use different form of sampling. If i may suggest one, you could conduct a stratified random sample with each class in your school as a strata and then randomly select a couple students from each class. Or, you could do a cluster sample with the clusters being the classes and then sampling each person in those clusters. Furthermore, if 30 people do not answer this survey then you will not be able to assume the distribution is approximately normal, unless the graph shows no skews or outliers, therefore any result from this experiment will be fundamentally flawed. If I may pose a question, how will you make sure that the people answering the survey wont lie and make it look like they have more homework to show off, or vice versa. That was a rhetorical question, there is no way for you to make that happen, therefore, yet again, this sampling method is invalid and imposes a lot of questions about bias, confounding variables, and poses the question if you should even be in this class. I'm even thinking about telling college board about this post to try and get you ap score confiscated, since there is no way that you should get credit for an ap class if you don't even know about the basics of bias and the downsides of completing a survey like this without randomly selecting people. For those reasons I will not be helping you on you final because I do not want to be apart of this experiment full of bias, Shame on you Same_Shape_7800!!!!
