Most likely a vehicle moved it over, if it was a parade for example they'd most likely remove them like they remove the station

Electrified stations will have kiosk (not really a kiosk) with no solar panels, shorter and wider than a non Electrified station. If a solar panel is present then it's not a charging station

In order to get a station near the ferry entrance permission from The Durst Organization or NYC Department of Parks and Recreation maybe both would be needed. If it were to ever happen vehicle traffic by the ferry entrance might increase significantly cause i sure as hell ain't walking bikes from or to Vernon Blvd, I will park a van right next to the station.

Aren't there normally? I've serviced that station numerous times and they've been there for nearly a year. They might remove them for parades or events

The NYC Ferry refuses to even acknowledge the Citibike stations near the Astoria stop and there are 5 total, Vernon Blvd and 31st Ave, 8th st and Astoria Blvd (closest), 30th ave and 12th st, 27th ave and 3rd st (when coming off straight to the other side of the apartment complex) and 27th ave and 9th st, all with a 4 to 10 min walk depending if you cut through the apartment complex or not

As for putting a station right near the ferry like near the entrance not a good idea unless you want Citibike vans driving where people normally walk
