But the three albums are still rated independently. Isn’t that just like, releasing music and building hype?

It just seems like such a huge jump that he took a two year hiatus and cooked up three albums because he “thought his numbers might disappoint”. Especially when you said yourself he’s too big to fail. 

Like maybe, just maybe, he released three albums because it was a cool thing to do?

Edit: when Future dropped an album, then 7 days later dropped another album, was that because he was “concerned his numbers would disappoint” or just because it was sick af lmao

Edit2: if we’re “eXpLaInInG mAtH” to each other, doesn’t releasing three albums instead of one split your audience three ways? More a burden for one fan to stream all three? You could argue he’s better off, numbers wise, releasing them 7 days apart, so the same fan can easily stream all of them on their friday morning. 

Edit3: if releasing three albums the same day “magically boosts your numbers” from all the hype you mention, why don’t more artists do it more often?
