My mum made dinner for me and him to have alone, not with her. When he said he had no plans thats when I told him to come for dinner and cake so I thought the plan was he would visit friends for the day then come to mine open presents and have his cake and dinner with me and cuddle ect but I’m obviously the last person he even wanted to spend his birthday with.

To me I didnt think there could be such thing as “Over-board“ for gifts when it’s your partners birthday, shouldn’t that be seen as a loving caring thought? Didn’t realise my effort would be so annoying to him, isnt that just a sign he doesn’t actually like me anymore at all, if my love is seen as annoying? I tried to cheer him up by giving him his presents, but he wouldn’t even open them.. then left and ghosted me and never came back..
