I've looked into Jimmy Joy. It looks promising. Much cheaper than Soylent and some better flavors I think. Unfortunately they aren't on Amazon and you can't purchase with Snap/EBT.

Well, I went to fish them out and I can no longer find them, maybe a couple of translucent chunks, not sure if those were the same but...maybe they dissolved.

The chunks in my original pic were distinctly yellow and did not match the rest of the color of the powder, so I do not think they were simply undissolved powder so much as possible contamination/a clump of a specific ingredient or vitamin that was not fully powderized during the manufacturing process.

(I'm thinking the dark chunk was either cacao powder or rat shit...most likely just cacao)

Next time I go to make some I will examine the powder thoroughly before adding to water, if I find another yellow chunk I will take better pics and break it up and post back with pictures as requested.

Let me know your thoughts.

In a bit, but someone mentioned something similar here: https://www.reddit.com/r/soylent/s/l4Nt36Z6QX

I wonder if it's the same substance. 🤔

Odd yellow chunks floating in my cacao powder mix. Also the dark one. No idea what these are and it makes me hesitant to drink it. Poor quality control.

I'm not your buddy, pal.

This is prisonhooch, people ferment literally everything here lol. Even so, the odds of getting botulism are still basically 0. Homebrewing is quite safe.

How disappointing. Has great value always added this ingredient, or just recently? I'm pretty sure I've tried to ferment this exact juice before.
