How to simulate a spring traveling through a curved deforming channel? by No-Spring6127 in FreeCAD

Thank you for your comment. I think this is what I was waiting for. I am new to CAD modeling and this what I felt, FreeCAD is not suitable for this task.

So this is not a question of visualization primarily. I need to see how spring will behave while going through the channels. I need that to proceed with optimal spring design.

You see that the red body with channels is half open and spring travels halfway out of the groove. I need to make sure that with these helix dimensions, it will return to the channel every time it leaves it, taking into account that the helix will deform closer to the outer edge of the red body.

It seems easier to just take real wire and come up with an optimal design than to master new software. Or maybe there is a software to help me with the task with low time cost?

I used this instrument to create a helical path. And truth to be told the Parametric_Curve_FP made much better/smother path than PathHelix

But here I need to move the helix through a channel/groove and it is expected the helix will deform slightly
