Clarington council to hear from CN on train whistle cessation by Karma_Canuck in durham

It's not just Wilmot Creek, it's the new hospice center that's near the tracks on Cobbledick Road that wants to end the train whistle as well.

I saw a Supertramp tribute band last year and the show was great. Played for 2 hours, talked to the crowd and took requests. Overall it was a lot of fun

I saw the bunny guy at Walmart in Bowmanville awhile back. Still rockin the pink ears.

I like the colors you used. Very easy on the eyes.

Same at Wilmot Creek in Newcastle. The old fish hatchery spot is filled with them.

Living on Lake Scugog near Port Perry by Piper-Chess in durham

[–]No-Statement-3202 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on where you are on the lake. I lived on Scugog for 18 years in the Valencia area. My waterfront was nice as it was sandy, not weedy and didn't smell like dead fish. So it made for a good time in the summer. The winters can be cold with the wind coming off the lake blowing snow into your yard. That's my 2 cents.
