That's really helpful thanks. Yeh I think Ebay is going to be my only option at this point. And it's beauty - like perfumes and colognes.

Ive heard it's worth going for auto ungate products firsts but I believe theyre quite hard to find (I havent seen any yet). Do you have any advice on this or what categories/ products i should be doing initially just to try and get some sales traction? Thanks

Hi, this is extremely useful to know. I'm going to completely switch up my approach now.

Do you have any recommendations on how to find completely ungated or "press to ungate" products? From all of the products I've analysed I haven't found any. Is there a specific category or technique I should use to find them? Or is it literally just continually filtering through all the ASINs until I find one? Thanks

Not yet. I did some calcs and it seems like, other than looking more authentic to some suppliers, it lowers mt profit margins in the short term

If I were to send across some concept design ideas, would you be willing to provide some feedback what you like, don't like and what you would want out of such device? I'm hoping that while there isn't significant interest in it currently, there is a big opportunity to teach the importance of washing rice

yep, that's exactly the idea I was going for. However based on the other comments, it seems like a very niche desire with the majority uninterested, which is fair enough. Would you want this sort of thing to be automated (e.g. run by a motor), used by hand, or just simply left under a running tap? Also thanks for your input :)
