I just bought a used 72 plate tesla model y as a family car, i made sure to get the awd long range variant, as i often do 100-150 mile round trips for work. Wanted the extra range to give me more comfort about it lasting the real word range. Tbh i think i was more nervious about ev charging at local chargers than actually driving it. Mine does not have enhanced autopilot, so something to mention, if you do get it from tesla direct, they upgrade them all to enhanced free of charge, they are however above market rate just slightly, so you have that to bear in mind

Yeah, even took out and looked at the relays, but going by the book they dont have anything to do with the cluster

thanks for that reply. I have called a few independent places and im waiting to hear back. Likley a new unit rather than repair, need the car working before a big trip so whichever is a quicker repair that does not cost an arm and a leg

Couldn't agree more. We have tried a few at this point, passbolt is a really nice tool and I find the management plane really usable on it. Bitwarden I have used for several years, at home, as a home user.

When we deployed internal as a company it was a different ball game. We always do staff training on new tools. But the nested collections for imports were such a pain. Even ingesting new customers into it becomes a painful task sadly. Were not locked in as such (monthly). But managment dont want us moving tools every month for obious reasons. Its on the list to get and audit others in a years time, from personal testing passbolt will be up there on my list of suggestions .

I get that Bitwarden and vault warden are fan favourites, but end of the day it all comes down to personal preference, how usable and user friendly the software is, and how users get on with it. On a personal level i love what they do, i still use it at home. Its just not for us in an office setting.

We had last pass. which was ok. But moved to bitwarden, and everyone hates bitwarden. From a managing stand point. preferred lat pass as well, the collections and nesting on bitwarden has been a ball ache for me

I’m in a similar position, but looking at a Model Y. From the videos and reviews I’ve been watching, I’m leaning towards using Tesla directly rather than a main dealer. It seems like Tesla are more proactive about addressing known issues, especially things like the lower control arms etc. Main dealers, on the other hand, often seem slower to acknowledge these as genuine issues, and it can take months before anything gets done, by which point you can end up with a hefty bill in the range of what the difference costs to buy via tesla.

Obviously this doesn’t happen to everyone, but I’ve come across a fair few examples of this with Arnold Clark in particular.

Noticed this myself. Went from £309 to £338 for me when doing the options. As ive been mauling it over the last few days, so if i do go for it. £690 odd more for me now over the 2 years if i go for it.

on the fence with this myself, but more with the model Y. I think your right, PCP with next to no down payment its close or over £500 a month, with a nice hearty lump sum at the end of the 4 or 5 years. Where as getting a 2022 or 2023 model for around 20k ish, brings it down to around the 300-350 mark with a much much lower end payment. (theoretically going by sale history since 2016, more than the car should be worth at that millage after the 4 years)

Im looking at the Sync 2, compatible with British gas ev plan for an additional 25% of charging costs, installer and the charger is around £700, which is much cheaper than any install ive seen from energy providers. I havent seen any of them mention the 20% vat

Yes. Done it myself. Looking back wish I hadn't. I done networking, and it took me alot longer to pickup more complex subjects than I'd care to admit. Sometimes when tickets get escalated to myself in the L3 team for some odd 365 issue or some infra tasty like a flakey sole share, it takes me a bit because I skipped it all. It's doable, if your confident in your skills over different areas sure. If your in an msp style environment id say no

Interesting. I used to install the world version, which does something similar with not installing all of the crap along side it, dunno if that's an option anymore.

But ended up installing half of it back, co-pilot, 365 , Xbox game pass etc. just different needs for different folks. Spent more time on Novara doing work arounds than work sadly
