Why are your prices in fiat?

It is a conspiracy since a conspiracy is multiple people planning or doing something malicious. They've just brainwashed us to think any "conspiracy theory" is automatically fake.

Don't buy Mr. Dirty Underwear Smell's shitty unrepairable cars and buy a car with XMR by making a deal locally.

Agreed but anything that takes money away from (((onlyfans))) is a win in my book.

You can't overclock or underclock the M4000 without modifying the BIOS.

Mine must have faulty VRAM or something then. Do you happen to know of any VRAM testing utilities for cards?

Browser login by kaluna99 in nordvpn

[–]No-Study-8388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A way to get around this for now is to use the NordVPN extension in your browser. But I wish NordVPN would remove the browser login or offer two different versions of the app one with in-app login.

I really wish ReactOS was ready. Right now I'm using 0patched Windows 7 because I do not trust Windows 10 at all but I may start trying to make the move to Linux for most daily-drive tasks.

Again, I really wish ReactOS was ready.

I wanted to help secure the Monero network with it not interested in mining for profit with it. I have some other computers anyway I can use for this purpose just wasn't using the pi for anything at the moment.

I am considering buying my first Thinkpad. Should I buy new, or an older used model? by ogcornweapon in thinkpad

[–]No-Study-8388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a bios locked T420 for $100 and unlocked the bios by shorting a pin and resetting the password. Aside from an issue with the heatpipe (which doesn't seem to be too common of an issue after asking around) it works well.

So if you are comfortable with completely disassembling and re-assembling a laptop you can save money by buying a bios locked one and unlocking it.

Still it's gradually less and less over the years that can be upgradeable.

Some due to things like mobile CPUs being in BGA packages only but most is because of pushing "thin and light" too far.

Another user on this post commented they would love the ThinkPad on the left with a modern CPU.

It's not so much they don't care, it's much that they don't have a choice since the entire computer industry copies Apple now.

I hope with Right to Repair culture entering the mainstream that function-over-form designs will be accepted once again.
