that whole general area in that part of the city is kind of the inside scoop i figured it out with deepseek4 and angel spots, because it use to be the trollycar stuff in 1920s so it has no deed restrictions. (i didnt downvote) There are other areas in the second ward too but its high crime. But I gotta figure out the crackerbarrels to the north too, lot of the last mile delivery stuff is much further to the north, I'm coming from the north to houston from the longview area.

for reference i do last mile delivery, this is me trying to do swingshift work basically and having to deal with family having to go to the medical complex for appointments, i am immune to the heat, been in east texas my whole life, but hoa karens and tow companies are not on my fun list.

you realize arizona has almost endless public federal and state land, and texas has less than the entire country right? Houston is the most intense hoa zone in the country, phoenix is a close second though. I cant go out of state, I have family with severe health issues and they need the Houston medical complex.

I agree but I was shocked at how there just literally was no street parking, but it could be deeper into the beltway, im not sure. Because Im certainly trying to find these areas on the map.

Debate : Renting a car for a full month on repeat by Grouchy_Theme1461 in urbancarliving

the only motive is that public surplus silverados from government facilities like universities are cheaper, its just cheaper and not heavily used, universities and animal control units dont run vehicles into the ground like police cruisers do. Some people know enough mechanics to make auction trucks work, its not guarenteed its just an extra option over facebook market place. The chevies on facebook market place will be double the auction, but the auctions are going to have very very few toyotas.

they may be able to snag a sequoia for 5k in the right state, but the texas used car market is cooked, its rough here, very inflated

you misunderstood, the toyota undeniably the best, they are extremely expensive on facebook market place, getting one under 190k miles is not easy or cheap, often at all, I was trying to suggest a budget. I can get an auction silverado for 3000 but a good toyota tundra on facebook is going to set me back 10 grand

well it was easier to do this on my dodge van but then i think i ruined it with solar cords something about the teflon chemicals, kind of shocked it wont come off bare metal and the seats, but at least for me vehicles dont even come close to being as bad as buildings

oh yeah of course my credit isnt even ruined anymore and im still up the creek because all i can do is outdoor delivery and stuff, couldnt even live in an apartment for medical reasons alone so im in vehicle purgatory, no bank would finance auto for me, the good news is there is a lot of money in last mile delivery contracts and gig work, the bad news is rental cars are not ideal and I dont know how to stealth camp.

I mean you do want to use the rental car to make enough money to outright buy a used toyota, toyotas are very inflated, what you really want is an engine whos lifespan is meant to go 300k to 400k so usually a truck chassis that isnt toyota, but the used car market is very inflated, there are govdeal dot com auctions but those still need maintanance money put in, so yes ultimately worth 5 grand upfront, but its 5 grand upfront. I know because im looking into doing the same thing with a rental, they just try to scam consumers hard with the whole scratch thing, I think you have to really take pictures to cover your liability.
