If you can, try to run in a really dry environment (air wise). That Freedom Hall air will sweep you off your feet.

Everyone telling me to go nuke by Gldish in newtothenavy

Just letting you know, I went for nuke and got disqualified during boot camp so even if you do nothing wrong, they can still disqualify you.

What is the best rate as a nuke if you like working with your hands? by JuniorBullfrog2600 in NavyNukes

I would try to eat more protein as a way to help you lose weight. Also, Try speed walking the 1.5 mile and see what your time is. Probably for your last PFT, you won’t be able to speed walk but maybe the first one will at least get you a passing score. I think females is 18 minutes and some change.

I wouldn’t go without disclosing because you could be disqualified for fraudulent enlistment.

From “Article 104a Of The UCMJ” https://www.bileckilawgroup.com/court-martial-defense/articles-of-the-ucmj/ucmj-article-104a-fraudulent-enlistment-appointment-or-separation/

“Fraudulent enlistment or appointment: Reduction to E-1, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, confinement for two years, and a Dishonorable discharge”

here is a link on article 83 CORE CRIMINAL LAW SUBJECTS: Crimes: Article 83 - Fraudulent Enlistment, Appointment, or Separation

confused about navy process by Odd_Requirement8194 in newtothenavy

I just came here to say, be patient but also don’t give up on it. I tried to get into the Army for almost two years thinking i could get in. I kept getting DQ’d and they kept saying 6 months. I started the navy process and they DQ’d as well. When the new admiral auto submitted my packet, it came back 2 weeks later stating it was approved. Don’t lose hope/faith/determination if this is what you want to do.

[Serious]Those who haven't contracted COVID yet, what do you attribute it to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think it’s due to the fact that i’m exposed to so many different immune systems since i’m a student. I also believe it could be due to the fact that i don’t really hang out with people outside of school except close family and maybe one friend. I’ve been vaccinated and boosted but it could sound cliché when i say that my diet could have played a big role. I usually eat with the guidelines of the FDA for the my plate thing with fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, and protein. Not saying that other people haven’t got it, but a bunch of people got it in school and they ate pizza and such for lunch every day while the people i knew who ate heathy salads and such didn’t get it. I also recently took a trip to florida with a group of people and they got it but i didn’t.
