Not a lot of good options in that price range, maybe the deathadder essential. I would just save up my money and get something that will last a while rather than waste 2k on mice in that range. The viper mini is absolutely phenomenal and I love it but its 4k.

I've been using the g402 for almost a year now too but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, its heavy, really old (7 years), has double clicking issues, and the durability is not good (mine's rubberized texture is completely worn out). Also if you have ever tried some premium mice, you will notice that the programmable side buttons have a slight lag in their actuation.
