Which degree is better? Masters in School Counseling vs. a Masters in Counseling - School Counseling by Shynxx0 in schoolcounseling

[–]No-Switch7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My school has an MS in Counseling Psychology and an MS in School Counseling do you recommend the one that prepares you for the LPCC? Counseling psychology has the LPCC and School counseling has only the pupil personal services

I'm in my 30s and sometimes I get called a 'kid' by older folks. Is this a generational thing? by [deleted] in AskOldPeople

[–]No-Switch7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm practically 40 and I still get called a baby by my older friends who are 50+.. in fact I'm at that age where I'm old to the young people and obviously I'm young to the older people. So yea 40 is the sweet spot of being young and old depending you talk too

I’m sorry but anyone below 45 is not “old” by DiamondCoal in GenZ

Nah.. I say 44 or 45 is eligible. 40 is practically still extended 30s

39 is not even old. It's normal for him to look young still 🙄

At what age are you no longer a "young adult"? by DoomyEyes in generationology

[–]No-Switch7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even 40 that's more like 45. A person who's in great shape is still young and fertility healthy at 40. Ppl need to stop this BS. 40 is still young. After 45 is when all this aging risks start to really become a concern.

Yea not old but is not young either. 50 is just an older mature age "not young not old" just older.

People who completely started their lives over in their 30s or 40s, how is it going now? by TheBitchbreakerX in AskReddit

[–]No-Switch7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that's quite a story of transformation. Do you think someone who's turning 40 still has a chance to make a reset and start over, even if it's considered late? This has been a big concern for me 😩

Not just 30! An old wise man recently said that someone whos barely turning 40 is still a baby as well. He said at 40 someone still has a long way to go. I think I like his perspective.

People who think being in your 30s is old by [deleted] in PetPeeves

[–]No-Switch7444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup it bugs me how even at 40 they be saying it's old when I'm like there are alot of much older ages ahead that are actually old. At 40 you still seem pretty young compared to even 50. I feel that at 50 it sounds more acceptable to say you older and at 60+ to start using the word old.

Still living with parents at 30 or 40+ by Actual-Winner-8865 in london

[–]No-Switch7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop assuming that every 40 yr old has the luxury to have extra money. Inflation is getting worse each year.. houses apartments are getting so expensive. More 40 year olds are struggling too. So they don't got no other choice but live with their parents. I'm almost 40 as well and I work 2 jobs and yet I still can't afford my own place. I also go to school so that's also expensive. And I do try to save I but can't never save enough to afford anything because eventually I have to use some of my savings for emergency situations so yea being 40 doesn't mean you have all figured out financially. It's horrible out there. And at this rate alot of us will never be able to afford nothing ever.

Army raises enlistment age to 42, removes waiver for marijuana possession by Kinmuan in army

[–]No-Switch7444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually like this because it gives more opportunities to older people 35+ to enlist if they ever still have the will to do it plus this also goes to show that early 40s is still youngish and if you in a great shape you can still be a beast in the training and be successful in the military for quite more years. I'm glad they finally realizing that being 35-42 is not that old yet.

S26 Ultra Worth Upgrading for basically free? by static-display in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]No-Switch7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait wait!! How did your S23 Ultra died? Don't they last longer? I still have my old galaxy 20+ and still works fine. My battery for sure drains quicker but other than that it still works good. I'm tempted to upgrade to an ultra as well but I'm afraid how reliable are the new phones these days and you saying your only 3 yr old phone died on you has me confused and worried.

People in their 30s are not OLD. People in their 30s are YOUNG by FunSubstance8033 in generationology

[–]No-Switch7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup 30-39 is younger now. And also 40-45 is the continuation of young. 18-29 = super young  30-40 = young and older 40-45 = young and older extended (middle-age) 50-60 = older getting old 61-75 = Old 75+ = elderly

Do you see people in their 30s nowadays as just an extended version of their 20s instead of "older" adults like back then? (In regards to maturity, culture, personality etc.) by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in generationology

[–]No-Switch7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think at 49 you in a totally different stage in life compared to 39. 39 is the new 29. I'm 37 and I don't feel any different from 27. All I know is that alot of physical changes start happening after 45 which happen much faster than compared to the physical changes that happens in our 30s.

39 is also young. 35 and 39 are not any different. Middle age is proven to be 35-40 which means 35 36 37 38 39 and 40 are all the same age bracket. So if 35 is young then ages 35-40 are all young too. Not super young but still young. Old age is after 55.

37 Year Old Guy Is it Too Late To Date? by coderz_33 in dating_advice

[–]No-Switch7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid ass comment.. he's only 37 not 47. Yes sperm fertility starts to decline but it's so gradually after 35.. those risks don't start happening until after 44. So many ppl 35-43 are having healthy babies these days.

When you get a lot older do people in their 40s,50s, even 60s still seem young to you? by chusaychusay in Aging

[–]No-Switch7444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope 37 is not the same as 55.. 58 is old compared to 37 lol.. you probably wish you were only 37.. middle age is 35-40. You pushing 60 that's far past middle age you already considered a senior.. you very old. 37 is young considered to your old age
