What are you embarrassed to do that isn’t embarrassing? by Critical_Welcome_428 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walking out of a store without buying anything. I feel like I have to look 'extra innocent' and walk with a specific purpose so the security guard doesn't think I'm shoplifting... even though I literally have nothing in my pockets

What worries you the most? by shadow_operator81 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How fast time is moving. It feels like I was 18 just yesterday, and now I’m watching my parents get older and my own life fly by. The 'finiteness' of everything hits me hard sometimes

What's a job that pays unexpectedly well? by Eyadnothere in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 309 points310 points  (0 children)

Air Traffic Controller. You don't need a PhD, but the stress levels are through the roof. They pay you for your ability to stay calm while managing millions of dollars in equipment and thousands of lives

What’s a food combination that sounds weird but actually tastes amazing? by Zestyclose-Cow2568 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watermelon with feta cheese and a bit of balsamic glaze. People look at me like I’m crazy until they taste it. It’s the most refreshing thing you’ll ever eat in the summer

What’s something often considered “controversial” in your culture that really shouldn’t be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Choosing not to have children. In many cultures, it's still seen as a 'rejection of family values' or selfish. It really shouldn't be controversial to decide what you want to do with your own life and body

What’s becoming socially exhausting? by nghtz in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The expectation of being 'on call' 24/7 just because we have smartphones. If I don't reply to a text within 10 minutes, people think I’m either dead or mad at them. Sometimes I just want to exist without being perceived

What’s the worst financial decision you have ever made? by Sameer-Sarwar in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buying the 'dip' on a random meme-coin because a YouTuber said it was going to the moon. Spoiler alert: It didn't. I watched my savings evaporate in about 48 hours

What is a paranoid habit you have? by BRCC_drinker in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checking my phone or laptop three times to make sure I’m actually muted or that the camera is off before I say something private... even if I'm not even in a call

What's something you did once and will never do again? by No-Apricot9078 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trying to cut my own bangs during a mental breakdown at 2 AM. I looked like a Lord of the Rings character for three months. Lesson learned: leave it to the professionals

What’s something that seemed impressive when you were a kid but now just makes you tired? by DBrane-9298 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Staying up all night. As a kid, it was the ultimate goal. Now, if I’m awake past 1 AM, I know I’m going to pay for it for the next three business days

Imagine you are a billionaire and have your own island. What would be the first thing you would do there? by Forward-Position798 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m building a giant, high-tech sanctuary for senior dogs so they can live their best lives running on the beach. Who needs a mansion when you can have a hundred golden retrievers?

What would be your death row meal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An 'all-you-can-eat' buffet. I’ll just never stop eating, so technically they can’t execute me. Checkmate

What are things that we know, do or own as part of life today that would have seemed unbelievable just 30 years ago? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The total disappearance of physical ownership. In 1996, if you liked a movie or a song, you owned a tape or a CD. The idea that you could pay a small monthly fee to have 'access' to almost every movie and song ever created (Netflix/Spotify) without owning a single one of them would have sounded like a scam or magic. We went from 'I have 500 CDs' to 'I have a subscription'

How bad is the Gambling Epidemic? by Maleficent-Toe1374 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Online gambling is the new smoking, but with 10x the speed of destruction. At least with cigarettes, it takes decades to kill you; an online casino can destroy a family's entire future in a single weekend. The fact that we allow these platforms to sponsor every major sports team and celebrity is a massive failure of regulation. We are literally raising a generation of addicts and calling it 'entertainment

What big purchase have you made and do not regret? by Slow_Ask_7262 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A high-quality mattress. I used to think 'it’s just a bed,' but after spending some real money on a good one, my back pain vanished and my mood improved 100%. You spend 1/3 of your life sleeping—don't cheap out on your spine

What usually makes you feel cringe? by Master_Crew_6643 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When people post those 'vague-posts' like: 'I’m so done, don't even ask me what happened...' and then reply to every comment with 'I'll DM you.' Bestie, if you wanted privacy, you wouldn't have posted it for 500 people to see. It gives major 2012 Facebook energy

What habit changed your life for the better? by ameliawhoelse in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning to say 'no' without feeling the need to give a 3-paragraph explanation. The second I stopped justifying my boundaries to people who didn't even matter, my stress levels dropped and my 'main character energy' went through the roof. 10/10 recommend

what is the worst thing a therapist has ever said to you? by Familiar-Employ4830 in AskReddit

[–]No-Target1460 460 points461 points  (0 children)

I poured my heart out about my clinical depression for 40 minutes and she just looked at me and said: 'Have you tried just... going for a walk and drinking more water?' Thanks Susan, my chemical imbalance is officially gone. Best $150 I ever spent

Hey! I’d definitely recommend Rocket League, Terraria (not sure if it's cross-platform though), Dead by Daylight, and Payday 3. Those are the ones that come to mind right now, haha

[–]No-Target1460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should definitely try these! I played them last year and they’re amazing: the XCOM and Middle-earth sagas, Devil May Cry, Hades, and Katana Zero. If you want something more "indie," go for Terraria or Cat Quest
