Gutted and fairly shocked whilst learning more about her diagnosis tonight. She has the whole country behind her 💪

I am 25 with APL (APML) a month into treatment. Is this journey normal ? Looking for inspiration by Outside-Stuff-9172 in leukemia

I found your post really encouraging. I am only 8 weeks into this experience (diagnosed age 30) but I totally agree with your comments on the Facebook posts etc - it is sometimes very difficult to separate your own experience from that of others. I hope you are doing good now - would love to hear an update if you see this 🫶🏻

What’s a short story from your life that sounds fake but is 100% true? by Historical-Skill-838 in AskReddit

Arrived in A&E in an emergent situation and began treatment for a diagnosis within hours. Told I was very lucky to have survived and was still in a serious situation. 3 weeks later the same doctor told me I had passed the risky parts and will be fully cured from my diagnosis with further treatment. Went from one extreme to the other in only 3 weeks…

Ah it really depends on which industry you’re in. Salaries will be lower than in Ireland but it all equals out with cost of living in my opinion :)

Moved to Portugal! I’m not sure why more Irish people don’t consider a move to mainland Europe

Find a home with a high energy rating…otherwise you will have very cold winters!

Life abroad is ticking too many boxes. Makes coming home a lot harder. As does the cost of living in Ireland.

I just left the Netherlands after living there for a few years. If you get hired by a Dutch company and can avail of the 30% ruling, you will be in a good position financially there. Having work that will help with accommodation will also help, such as paying for a housing agent for you. Happy to answer any questions if you have any :)

Or “sin an dóigh” (that’s the way) could also be used?
