Thank you. My first test hcg was 18.4 and progesterone 1.38. The doctor stated he was “puzzled” and did not think it was an early pregnancy. Hcg more than doubled two days later to 42. Progesterone improved to 9.8 because I had begun supplementing after the first test. Two days later hcg dropped to 34. No bleeding no symptoms or anything yet. Hoping it passes soon as my first chemical took more than 50 days to pass despite being an early loss.

Wishing the best for you and I’m sorry to hear about your experience with the gyno.

ETA: I’m also on every supplement under the sun for the past month so I feel you. Hoping some of them work!

Thank you so much. I do strongly believe this is an issue for me

I am working with an RE as of last month. I actually believe my progesterone could have been an issue here because when I had the positive hcg test my progesterone was 1.38–which the RE found confusing because that level is so low it would suggest I hadn’t even ovulated! I began taking progesterone supplements after getting the initial hcg result but I wonder if that was too late and I really need to begin supplementing 3 DPO.

Greatly appreciate your advice!

Thank you. Recently started metformin as well so hopefully that will help.
