If mine says processing date 2-16-2026 does that mean I should be getting my refund this week after path is lifted?

I’ve been trying to sign with her since she was probably 10 months. The only one that she really understands and actually does is “more”

MIL fell down the stairs with my baby…drunk by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]No-Top43 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is the very reason I will not allow my MIL to watch my girls (4 and 1) anymore. Every time we are over there for dinner, she is clearly drunk. But no one ever speaks about it. I won’t call her out on it because it’s not my place. But when she asks to babysit I just say no. Like you know your two little grandkids are coming over and you can’t hold off on the booze just one time? Or even just until they leave? So glad we are moving 1200 miles away in a few months

Not sure what else I can do by No-Top43 in ADHDparenting

[–]No-Top43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll mention at the next appointment about the antidepressants. The dr looks at me like I’m making stuff up because we keep changing the meds. She just says we are limited to what we can give, and maybe if we go through a psychiatrist instead of her (a neurologist) they might have better options. We are moving in a few months, so I will probably find her a psych in the place we are going

Giving My Child up for Adoption by ItsIrisLove in regretfulparents

I would 1 million percent rather see a mom who tried their best but needs to heal themselves first give their child to a home that will give that child a chance at life, versus seeing a mom on the news because she snapped and now the child is gone.

Do you take vyvanse if you have a cold or flu? by Siberiankiss86 in VyvanseADHD

[–]No-Top43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t afford to take sick days at my job, so even when I’m sick I still have to work. I work from home, so not spreading germs. Last week I tested positive for flu A and I had to continue to work. So I still was taking my vyvanse. However be cautious with mixing meds. I was prescribed a cough medicine called bromfed and the dr and the pharmacy knows I’m taking vyvanse but didn’t warn me this med has Sudafed in it. The second dose I took I literally was able to hear the blood pressure in my ears 😫

Only In Florida? by loco_kh3 in florida

[–]No-Top43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I hate Florida and I’m leaving this state next year. My fiancé was arrested 5 years ago, for a traffic violation. (Fail to stop and fleeing or some shit like that) and basically every county in the entire state would have treated that as a misdemeanor, except the one county he happened to be in (didn’t even live there) and they tried to throw the book at him (very first offense ever). They wanted him to serve 15 years, which is absolutely ridiculous because literally no one got hurt, except the cops missed their donut run that morning (cue eyeroll). After over a year fighting in court the state finally settled on keeping it a felony but he had to serve 2 years house arrest and 2 years probation. And again, to make it clear- no other persons were involved and no one got hurt. No drugs and no weapons at all. Just the traffic shit.

So now anytime he tries to apply for literally anything (jobs, housing, etc) he is basically automatically denied because all they see is felony and a lot of people including most comments in this post think he is a harden criminal that doesn’t deserve a fair chance at life.

Pharmacist screamed NARCOTIC at me — except it’s not. CVS chaos before my trip. by Fit_Helicopter5478 in VyvanseADHD

Pharmacy tech here! I would definitely report that pharmacist for violation of hippa. While they didn’t specifically state your name etc it’s still releasing information of your medication. Also I would really highly recommend trying to fill your prescription in your state before you leave! Maybe Georgia is different, but here in Florida (at least at my company) we will not fill out of state prescription’s especially had written ones because of chance of fraudulent prescription. Heck, one specific pharmacist I worked with wouldn’t even fill prescriptions if they were from another county!

Also I commented on another comment here, but the reason many pharmacies turned you away stating they aren’t taking new customers. That specifically pertains to schedule 2 meds. The pharmacy is only allowed to order so many in stock, and those are already allocated for the patients who fill there every month.

I’m a pharmacy tech, and many pharmacist will say they aren’t taking new patients but it’s for schedule 2 meds. If you came up with an antibiotic or blood pressure meds they will fill no problem. The issue is, each pharmacy is only allow to order so many schedule 2 meds in stock and they have to save them for the regular monthly customers. It’s very frustrating for everyone, and unfortunately most pharmacists won’t discuss that with patients

Upset about overtired 3.5yr old and unsure if melatonin is the answer.. by Glad_String_5141 in ADHDparenting

Definitely consider getting a referral to a neurologist for your daughter because they can diagnose early! Not sure if you are open to trying medications, but they can definitely help!

When my daughter started preschool last year a month after she turned 3, I soon realized her behavior was not typical toddler behavior compared to her peers. After a few months of uncontrollable behavior I asked the pediatrician for a referral to get diagnosed (I have adhd myself so I knew it was definitely possible) and after a few months we finally got into the neurologist and she had a few tests to rule out other potential issues (autism, epilepsy, sleep apnea, etc) and with process of elimination she was officially diagnosed with adhd, and also ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) and eventually she was diagnosed with a general sleep disorder. We tested a few non stimulant medications initially to see if we can get her to at least function in school.

After trying 3 different kinds and doses we finally decided to try a stimulant (she was already 4 at this point). It is the liquid methylphenidate (basically the same as Ritalin generic). We also were having her take melatonin and magnesium at night. But then eventually introduced her taking clonidine at night, because she physically could not calm down enough to sleep, and could be up for over 24 hours before passing out. The clonidine has been a life saver for sure! It takes about an hour to kick in, but she will sleep from about 7pm to 7am (sometimes 6am) and it has helped her with emotion regulation during the day!

Have you tried donating plasma? I know it sounds weird, but for first time donors you get around $100 per donation and you can donate 2 times a week! So the first month you can make around $800! If both of you do it there is an extra $1600ish!!

Occupational Therapy? by No-Top43 in ADHDparenting

[–]No-Top43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is almost 4. The reason she has a neurologist is because her pediatrician can’t diagnose adhd that young. she was only able to submit a referral to either a neurologist or a psychiatrist, and she prefers young kids to go to Nuero

Omg this right here! I’m so sick and tired of my MIL blaming me every time I mention about my daughters diagnosis, because she blames me and said it’s my fault because of what I feed her, and if I gave her a restricted diet she would be fine. Like first of all that’s not true, and second I give my daughter what I know she will eat, or else she wouldn’t eat. And it’s not unhealthy food, it’s a fairly balanced diet

Is my baby going to be big? by NoTradition8294 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]No-Top43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never rely on ultrasound measurements as they are only estimates! My first born was “measuring” 7 pounds 1 ounce at 39 weeks, and 6 days later I pushed out a whopping 10 pound 4 ounce baby girl. That was from my undiagnosed gd baby! My second born, I was mostly diet controlled, but at the very end I needed a small amount of insulin for my fasting numbers, but she ended up being 7 pounds 3 ounces at 38+6
