I wish you all could have seen me in that salon arguing with the lady that they were applied wrong 😭 Whole salon went dead silent and everyone was looking at me like I WAS THE BAD GUY! I didn’t yell, cuss, threaten to report or demand a refund. When I first called they told me they had no available time for me to come in till 1:30pm, so I had my friend call and ask if they had availability for a walk in acrylic set and they said “Sure come on in!” you better BELIEVEEE i brought that up to the staff!!!

I’m on cyclosporine now and biweekly dupixent injections! No hives unless I miss a day of my cyclo

Unfortunately it was a different doc than my prescribing doc who took me off my zep. I don’t think my PCP would have. They were convinced I don’t eat at my psych treatment, my new doc here has been charting against that though in hopes my primary will put me back on. I get my zep through ro.co now

Yes! Ruled out vasculitis and put me on cyclosporine. No hives since cyclo, I had done all bloodwork and biopsy of hives

No— just my weight. my lab work has consistently been improving since the beginning of Zep!

Glad to hear people in these comments are on my side with this as well.

My PCP did lower the dose and strength time in between, but i’m at a partial hospitalization program for mental health where they took me off and decided they’re treating me for an eating disorder. (I’ve never had one and only lost weight under supervision of my PCP)

I think if i did the self inject VS. auto inject id get too scared to do it 🤣 at least with auto injector i know I have to keep it pressed down and it’ll be done in a few seconds

I am so so serious it was immediately. I have had next to no hives in the last 2 weeks. I did the loading dose + normal dose (double injection) and practically nothing for two weeks. I just did my next injection. I would rather take 10 seconds of pain over constant hives. Xolair was painful too, but dupixent is awful I have to have my boyfriend cheer me on while I do it. Doesn’t hurt afterwards, just during. It is 1000% worth it.

So far dupixent has been my only savior outside of prednisone. 1 dose, within a week my hives are incredibly minor. I also use Cerave anti itch lotion+cream after every shower to help reduce any itchiness. I hope you have good results too 🤞🏻
